“ The entire course of the particular elective was concluded very well, I genuinely appreciate the structure of the course, how it introduces intrapersonal communication and relates that to interpersonal communication. However, I personally felt that the group exercises that we had during the course helped a lot to practice the content that was shared with us in class. Also, I felt there might be more of those sorts. Before taking up this particular course, I was having a very vague idea about communication and I wasn't aware of how important it is. Yes, but after the entire journey throughout the semester, my conception of communication has changed a lot and now I understand what communication can do in the real world. “Dear Nipurnika mam, I have always been good with the English language and vocabulary, but I often found myself not expressing myself even when needed. I have also always been very quiet as a person and only speak out necessary or on point things. SPECIFIC IS TERRIFIC, but making it terrific is in our hands, this elective taught me to do so by teaching me to make my statements potent and more expressive. I never really had stage fear, and due to my overconfidence in this particular aspect, I never took preparing a speech very seriously, which resulted in bad communication and ultimately resulting in losing confidence in myself. I learnt that preparation is as important as everything else, because if nothing goes according to plan, at least I have my speech ready. I have always been complimented for my heavy and assertive voice quality, but in this elective itself I realised that I haven't been using it to my fullest extent. Making my words more empathetic using my voice was a whole new thing for me to understand and develop. After this elective and after learning from you, I will improve my speech quality with proper pace and pitch. Will try and improve my speech by actually preparing it in advance. I will be more expressive in terms of verbal as well as physical communication. It's been a great experience learning from you. Thank You So Much For Your Time ! Regards!

“Dear Ma'am, According to me, communication previously meant just a means to connect to other people and convey my message to them. But after I pursued this particular elective, I got to know that communication is much more than just saying something. It is about expressing ourselves, it is about conveying "how I feel" and what's inside of me. Communication is itself a language spoken by our mindset and our body and the way we carry ourselves. Communicating effectively simply means transferring our true emotions by means of words or actions or gestures. Words are not only the means to convey our message, it also includes our tonality and way of speaking and our expressions and ability to analyse by being a good listener before being a speaker. I've always faced issues in communicating to other mainly due to my stage fear and fear of being judged by others. But during this course, I started analysing myself and what my mind says when I zone out. So Thank You Ma'am for helping me out knowing myself and making me learn some really great tips about speaking and about maintaining my body language. According to me this particular elective is more of a long term personality development course and I'm sure it'll help me throughout my professional life. Thank You. Yours Sincerely
